10 POINTS! I cant thin out my nailpolish!!!?

It was really old and thick so i googled how to thin it out, it said put a few drops of acetone in it, which i did, and that worked for a while, but i kept putting more in it cause it kept getting thick again, now, its all just clumps inside the bottle and the acetone doesnt miz with it, its like oil and water! just clumps with water around it, and ive also tried rubbing alcohol, i really want my nailpolish to be thinner, i dont know where to buy this color, i cant find it in walmart or stores like that, so dont tell me to go buy a new one, i need advice!
