Any on-line game (Counter-Strike:Source, WoW, and more) freezes all the time?

Ever since I moved to another state, and got here with a new Internet connection every single on-line game I play has a lag spike consistently, i mean its like every 5-10min, they only last about 2sec, but in a on-line game they're freaking crucial 2 seconds, you know? I have no clue if its just a faulty connection, something happened in the move, it hates me, a demon controls it, or its just an old computer (about 4years) I regularly do scans and stuff
