Unique burn? MDs prefered?

I have a unique situation, I was boiling acetone for a chemistry lab when it caught on fire, I tried to blow it out but it splashed on my face instead, within seconds I had a damp towel on my face and had taken a vicodin anticipating pain. Well when I tried to determine what type of burn it was there were no similar images online, about a minute after I burned myself I looked at it in the mirror and my top layer of skin was all white, I peeled it off, it was really weird, the next day at school everyone told me it looked like I got mad sun, so weird, I have a realy high pain tolerance and it hurts pretty badly, what would you guys determine the severity of the burn to be? How can I make this heal fast? Yes I know of aloe vera, neosporin, vitamin E, and hydrocortosine cream. I need PRACTICAL off the wall ways to get burns to heal really fast. Is it possible that I just seared my top layer of skin? Yes I know, I need to see a doctor, I already have.
