How do you remove acetone stain from plastic ?

well , last night my little cousin knocked my glasses off my head . they fell on the ground and he stepped on them . (the frame broke) i glued it back together and i got some glue on the frame where you keep the glasses stable on your head (the long part that you lay on top of your ear). I looked on the internet and it said too put acetone on it ... so i did. now its all white looking and it looks really bad . how do you remove acetone stain ?
