Cold sore question... again!?

Hi, i had a cold sore for 6 days now, on my previous question i stated that i never had one before this is my first cold sore, i had no idea why but now i realize why i got it.. I HAVE A COLD!.. anyways, i did everything i see on the internet to do, acetone, salt, idk what else but i tried it . the cold sore is going away thankfully, but mid way of the first cold sore, i seemed to start getting another one on my top lip, i have been very careful with the first one, super clean with it. i used abreva right away but ran out, the new sores have not erupted or anything, they are just a couple of small bumps here and there. would they erupt? i am using l lysine and carmex, thats it.
