Getting accidentall spray paint off of a car?

Ok so I was spraying using a spray gun in our garage, long story short the car got a light mist on it. It's been a while since it happened. Any tips to get the paint off without hurting the cars paint? I've used a touch of acetone in a spot and it didn't seem to work. It's just a light film over the car. I've also washed a couple times, and used the quarter car wash. Even tried waxing it all. Any tips to take this stuff off? Or should I take it to a detail shop to try. Thanks!
