How to remove nail polish stain from acrylic nails?

i painted my nails red and i wanted to put another colour on, now the red has stained my acrylic nails and i dont know how to remove it, ive been sitting for ages with a non acetone remover and its not doing much to it, i cant use peroxide cause that will ruin them, and so will an acetone remover. Any suggestions?
