How to remove paint from plastic?
I painted the center console and ac vents in my jeep a few months ago with crylon. The sun has made the paint bubble up. I need to strip he paint off. I can't sand it because I simply can't get sand paper into all the painted areas. I need something That will disolve the paint without Harming the plastic. I though about using dot 3 brake fluid. it's very good at dissolving paint. But I want to repaint this and I don't think paint would stick to it after being soaked in brake fluid. And acetone is to harsh for the plastic. I have a high pressure water jet. I was thinking if I could dissolve the paint enough the high pressure water could take care of the rest. Do you have any suggestions on what I could use?
